It’s not the first time I choose to wear men clothes and it won’t be the last simply because I love how satisfying it is to take a manly item and turn it into a feminine one (to be clear, I only like doingΒ  that to their stuff not to them πŸ˜€ ). Whenever I find myself looking for something different or classic, I take a look in the men’s department. T-shirts, plaid shirts, colorful thin ties or leather bracelets are a few items that make shopping in the men’s section feel like a guilty pleasure. Sometimes it’s more than that especially when you’re looking for that plain white tee or classic white shirt and they’re nowhere to be found in your part of the store.

I love the simple shirts because there are so many ways to adapt one to fit your style. You can wear them as they are, loose and comfy, with a pair of cutoffs underneath, you can accentuate your waist with a belt, you can pin a brooch on, wear a statement necklace or, why not if you’re in the men’s section anyway, you can throw in a thin tie loose enough to have that preppy chic look.

This time I went for the knot and high waisted jeans. Simple with a twist πŸ™‚

I just hope the temperatures stay down because there’s no room to play with your clothes if you wish you didn’t have any. πŸ˜€
