I love music. I love it to the point that I can’t function well without it. That’s either because I live through it or it helps me out when dealing with difficult moments. And sometimes it gives me the boost of energy I need to get through the day. Oddly, that energy doesn’t always come from upbeat songs. A really sad song could put me in a very good mood. I’m weird like that I guess. Below there are a couple of songs I’ve been listening to lately. Hope you like them.

I won’t talk about the outfit because there’s nothing special about it, except for the t-shirt that was a gift and that I think it’s pretty cool. I love the asymmetric cut and the ‘Friday I’m in love’ message on it and I can’t wait to wear it in the summer with just sneakers and some shorts.

What I do want to talk about is a movie I have recently seen and loved. I’m not a movie buff. Actually I rarely watch movies but when I do, I usually go  for the critically acclaimed or very popular. Some of them are nice but the majority … not really. I don’t know what’s the standard for ‘a good film’ but to me it’s when it touches you in such a way that it makes you think about it for days. That’s the case of Y Tu Mamá También . I loved it but the thing is I can’t explain or understand how it left me feeling. I sat there with a mix of emotions washing over me and unable to tell if I’m happy, sad, blown away or what the hell is going on. There are no big twists, nothing shocking or unheard of and it doesn’t leave you confused. It’s not that kind of film but it does leave with you something. Now if I can only name it :)) If you’ve seen the film or decide to watch it, please feel free to share your opinion. I’d love to hear it. (I would like to point out that there’s a lot of slang in this movie so, even with subtitles, knowing a little bit of Spanish would help you)

On another note, today we celebrate Mothers Day / Woman’s Day in Romania and I want to share with you a related article of a smart and talented blogger I’ve been following. I find her post very inspirational and I think you will too. Mothers Day or not.

You can read it here .

Kisses!
